HS ACH is a group of salts having the general formula AlnCl(3n-m)(OH)m. It is an active ingredient used in deodorants and antiperspirants to reduce the body odors (mainly sweat). It can pinch the sweat glands closed to prevent the release of sweat, and absorb some of the sweat produced by pores.

Application:

1. Personal Care (Antiperspirants)

Now ACH acts as the dominant active ingredient in the antiperspirant market(especially Latin and North American markets) , appearing in over 70% of products.

How it works: When applied, ACH forms a temporary, gel-like plug (aluminum hydroxide) at the surface of the sweat duct. This reduces sweat secretion by 20% to 50%.

Deodorizing effect: By reducing moisture, it eliminates the environment bacteria need to grow. Additionally, the aluminum ions naturally inhibit odor-causing bacteria.

2. Water Treatment (Flocculant)

In the water treatment industry, ACH acts as a high-efficiency flocculant. Specifically, it helps facilities to:

Purify municipal drinking water.
Treat industrial wastewater.
Clarify swimming pool water by quickly bonding to and removing suspended solids and pollutants.

3. Industrial Applications

Furthermore, you can find ACH serving as an auxiliary agent in:

Binders for refractory materials.

Papermaking additives (sizing agents).
